La lettura è conoscenza e, insieme, difesa. In un mondo in cui restare estranei alla verità e assuefatti alla banalità della superficie diventa il modo più efficace per controllare le menti, leggere, e dunque conoscere è un atto sovversivo. È sfida alle norme e alla consuetudine, un gesto che incrina l’ordine stabilito e apre la mente a visioni più ampie. È ribellione contro convenzioni, limitazioni e oppressioni. È empatia verso l’altro. È vigilanza. È capacità critica e libertà nel processo che porta ad accogliere, o rifiutare, un pensiero. È uno scudo gentile contro gli attacchi silenziosi del dominio e del potere.

Leggere, conoscere, sapere: è aria che solleva il pensiero e lo guida in voli consapevoli, decisi, necessari.

Title: Between the lines

Reading is knowledge and, at the same time, protection. In a world where remaining strangers to truth and numbed by the banality of the surface becomes the most effective way to control minds, reading — and therefore knowing — is a subversive act. It is a challenge to norms and habit, a gesture that cracks the established order and opens the mind to wider visions. It is rebellion against conventions, limitations, and oppressions. It is empathy toward the other. It is vigilance. It is critical capacity and freedom in the process that leads to embracin, or rejecting  a thought. It is a gentle shield against the silent assaults of domination and power.

To read, to know, to understand: it is air that lifts thought and guides it in conscious, deliberate, necessary flights.
